ASELSAN's "Call Receiving" and "Console (Dispatcher)" applications are available to the use of management of the communication system and / or operators in the call center. If there is an emergency call line belonging to the institution, incoming calls to this line can be met through Call Receiving Application. The Console Application is an application that is connected to the radio communication network and makes it possible to communicate with the radios via base stations.
Call Receiving Application
The denunciations and complaints coming to the emergency call line are met through call receiving application. Calls from either the phone network (fixed / wired) or from GSM networks are covered by the call receiving operators. These operators, who have been trained for the instructions about emergency and extraordinary situations, forward them to the relevant departments. The call receiving operator can intercommunicate with the operators in the management centers of the relevant departments during this forwarding.
A large number of trained operators in the management centers of the relevant departments start to process the events that are directed to them by the call-taking operators. They forward the most appropriate teams to the scene to intervene. It is tracked by the relevant operators until the event is concluded and the resulting events are closed. The relevant operators can communicate with call receiving operators or notifying citizen when necessary.
Console (Dispatcher) Application
Besides having radio and telephone features, Console (Dispatcher) Application provides displaying and controlling of the voice calls in the system. It works by connecting to the software switching unit in the system.
The following operations can be performed through Console Application:
Group Voice Call: Operator can listen to the conversations of the groups he/she is included, can be actively involved, can initiate a call itself.
Individual Voice Call: Operator can initiate an individual radio call to a desired radio and can answer individual calls.
Call Transfer: Operator can transfer a call that he/she is included to another subscription (radio or console).
Emergency Call: Operator can track the Emergency Calls coming from radios and if necessary he/she can make an audio surveillance.
Interrupted Priority Call: When the operator wants to make a call; if all traffic channels are full, he/she can make calls from the frustrated traffic channel(s) by interrupting the call with the lowest priority.
Status inquiry on radios: Operator can inquire the information of active radio status.
Radio Inquiry: Operator can inquire whether any radio is registered in the system.
Send SMS: Operator can send an SMS to any radio or console.
Inter-console Call (Intercom): The operator can make intercom calls with other operators in the same network.
Phone Interface: The Phone Interface allows direct access to the phone line from the Console's Graphical User Interface screen. The interface is used to initiate or answer the phone call and to provide an operator-controlled telephone-to-radio call.
Crypto: Console Application can work with crypto as well as without crypto.
Key update: When the central authorities want to change the keys used for encryption on the system, new keys can be installed on the consoles registered in the system.
