Aselsan AYAC – Military Routing and Switching Device is a Layer 3 device that designed to meet the military Switching and Routing requirements in an IP network.
AYAC includes 22 Ethernet ports (10 / 100 Base Tx), 2 Power over Ethernet ports (10 / 100 Base Tx) and a USB interface on its front panel. PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af standard. USB interface is used to facilitate configuration and backup processes. In addition, AYAC includes a GPS interface on its back panel which provides the required infrastructure for location tracking.
The device is designed to operate under challenging environmental conditions supporting MIL-STD-810F and MIL-STD-461 EMI/EMC standards.
AYAC supports OSPFv2 as the routing protocol and an adaptation of it - Auto-OSPF protocol, which is designed by Aselsan. Likewise, AYAC provides Static Routing, NAT, DHCP and VLAN (IEEE 802.1Q) features to ensure easy and optimized communication in the network.
