The Multi-Function Slew Controller (MFSC) consists of two independent controllers for the Pilot and Copilot that is used to control cursor movement on the displays.
The hand control part shape and configuration are designed for the left hand of the pilot and the right hand of the copilot with guidance of MIL-HDBK-1472F Human Factor Engineering standard.
MFSC consists of a 2-axis force transducer, three (3) single pole double throw pushbutton switches, and a scroll wheel switch with built in detente switch. The 2-axis force transducer supplies slewing capability for cursor movement on the displays.
